Roa Island Jetty

M&P Gadsden were appointed by Barrow Borough Council to design and deliver the replacement jetty at Roa Island after the former jetty was condemned. Particular issues we were confronted with were the tidal working and the speed of construction necessary to complete the jetty in sections. This was achieved using pre-cast concrete and rapid drying grouts. Completed in 2015 by L&W Wilson within budget.
