Lyth Valley Cottage

This beautiful Lakeland country cottage is located in the Lyth Valley in the Lake District National Park. The brief for the project was to maintain the charm of the Lakeland Cottage whilst introducing a contemporary wing to accommodate modern family life.

Designed by Ben Cunliffe Architects, we were employed to undertake the structural design works. This included the introduction of an exposed steel frame with a large open plan feel to the extension as well as major interior upgrade and repairs to floors, roof and walls
